RIMS Announces 2011 Dues and
New Graduated Society Dues Schedule for Young Professionals
As of January 1, 2011, RIMS Society dues will be:
Corporate (includes two deputies) $525
Additional Deputies $170
Associate (individual membership) $525
Educational $110
Retired $110
Affiliate $ 0
Student $ 0
Each RIMS member is required to be a member of their local chapter and pay applicable chapter dues.
In addition, with the new year, RIMS will launch a "graduated Society dues schedule" for young professionals. Additional Deputy and Associate members who have earned their first degree (typically a BA or BS) within the past four years will enjoy a reduced membership rate (plus local Chapter dues) with all of the same benefits as other Deputies/Associates except they'll get an electronic instead of a hard copy of Risk Management magazine.

The individual does NOT have to have been a student member of RIMS. To verify this status, applicants must provide verification:
- Copy of their diploma with their name, degree and date of graduation OR
- Copy of an official college/university transcript showing their name and the date of graduation as well as the degree awarded OR
- An original letter on college/university stationery from either the Alumni Director or Dean of the School offering the degree verifying the date of graduate and degree for the individual members.
